Rev. Robert Klersy has been the pastor of Hosensack Evangelical Congregational Church for nearly 20 years, the longest tenure in its history. He came here in the summer of 2003 to serve both Hosensack and Vera Cruz EC Church. Prior to serving as a pastor in the Evangelical Congregational Church, Pastor Bob taught in the public schools of Pennsylvania. He has pastored for a total of 35 years, serving congregations in Lebanon and Northampton Counties here in Pennsylvania as well as in suburban Baltimore.

Pastor Bob holds a B.S.Ed. degree from Millersville University and a M.Div. from Evangelical Seminary in Myerstown, Pennsylvania. He has been married to the former Karen Lehr of Carlisle, Pennsylvania for 36 years and together they have two sons: Seth and Kevin who is married to a daughter of the Hosensack congregation.

He enjoys a quiet life and his main hobbies are reading and visiting historical sites. Pastor Bob has served on the Board of Elections for Lower Milford Township and was one of the founding pastors of the Zionsville Food Pantry where he continues to be involved.
